Gas Superior Plan
“Gas Superior Plan” - Under this plan the customer will pay the same
Variable rate and Fixed Daily charge as they would under a current
E-Gas plan. However, in addition, there is now an added increased
prompt payment discount based on your gas consumption. This
plan is ideal for moderate to high gas consumers. To take up this
option we ask consumers to call (0800) 432 876 -Press 3 and ask
to speak to one of our Sales Consultants who will be more than
happy to discuss whether the Gas Superior Plan is right for you.

Pay As You Go Plan
“Pay As You Go Gas Plan” - This plan is best suited to a consumer wanting certainty regarding their gas payments. You pay a fixed amount for 11 months with a final reconciled or wash up usage
invoice at the end of 12 months. For example, E-Gas will put you onto a fixed $xx per month payment plan which will be based on a 12 month projection. At the end of your 12 month contract (12th invoice) E-Gas will calculate what gas you’ve used during that period compared to what we have charged you. The difference will either be a debit or credit invoice to you. The main benefit of this plan is customers can better spread the cost for their gas between normally higher costs during the winter months and normally lower
costs over the summer months. This can assist to better manage household expenditure.
• ‘Pay As You Go Gas Plan – Is available for a limited time only.
• For those customers electing for the ‘Pay As You Go Gas Plan’ payment is by direct debit only.
Example of how “Pay As You Go Gas Plan” operates Fixed Payment Plan Amount *($75.00) x 11 Months = $825.00 +GST Price example: (Rates below are for illustration only and may differ from actual rates. The example assumes that the customer consumes 7222.8kWh over the year and that the fixed and daily rates do not change during this period.).
• Variable Rate: $0.0835ckWh Unit & Daily Rate: $0.80c per day
• Usage 7222.8kWh x $0.0835c/kWh = $603.10
• Days 365 x $.80c = $292.00c Total = $895.10 +GST
Final Calculation: (Actual Usage) $895.10 - $825.00 (Pay As You Go Payment).
Final Balance to Pay E-Gas - $70.10c +GST
